Talk to me.

I’m growing up, i think. I hope. Well, at least I’m trying to. Ready for this?

Right now I’m taking 19 hours at AU, overseeing three weekly worship services at Madison Park Church, engaged and planning a wedding, and sharing my music… 100 dates on the road this year. And honestly, I’m loving it.

If you would have thrown this at me two years ago, or even a year ago, I’d be worthless. I would not be accomplishing anything. So what’s the difference? Boundaries, faith, diet, exercise, healthy/enjoyable relationships, and sleep. It really is that simple.

I’m so grateful for my malaria episode. It’s really changed who I am and how I view life. I want to live it to the fullest, and I now know that in order for me to be the person I’m made to be, there are certain things I need to do to see it through.

So I’ve shared my list with you. How do you relax? What boundaries do you have? Leave me a comment and tell me how. We can all learn from each other! – jt

Yeah man, I too have learned the value of sleep. When I don’t get enough, I really am useless. And if I am really dedicated to what God wants to do through me, I need to be ready. Slowly I will be introducing exercise back into my life as well. Balance is crucial.
