One of their records was entirely composed of covered hymns. This has been done before, a lot. I usually find them to all sounds the same, but not this project. Ascend the Hill has such a great sound, they did something really special with this project.

But enough of that. Here’s a song I’ve been using in church a lot lately. So good.

    Dude, I just sat here and listened to that song like 3 times in a row…amazing! I love how they wove Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” into the chorus. And the way it keeps building and building towards the end!! Wow, I think I may have just discovered my new favorite modern hymn cover!!
